Starting Sorcery Street
For Sorcery Street, another game that doesn’t exist yet. Here's a starting situation after the fashion of Blades in the Dark.
War in Lexicon City
Your coven is caught in the middle of an all-out gang war in Lexicon City, the most wretched slice of Tower.
Ocho, the boss of the Bleak Street Sanctum, is dead. Some people say his replacement, the cold-hearted Jay, did it. Others say it was a rival gang, the Bright Ladies, using their necromancer Foster.
All you know is the guy was fine one day, wasted away to bones overnight, and drove his car through the window of a pawn shop to slaughter the employees with a chainsaw in the wee hours of the morning. Reeks of either necromancy, or maybe psychomancy...
Whatever happened, the old feud has reignited, and the Sanctum is out for blood. They’re clashing with the Bright Ladies in every back alley, and challenging them to mage duels in every diner parking lot. The police have rolled out in force, and everyone is tense.
Meanwhile, the Elder Things, former lords of Lexicon City, are sweeping in from the next slice down to reassert control. They’re moving slowly, working the chaos to their advantage.
Your coven might be able to play kingmaker here, or even rise to the top of the pile. Let’s find out!
Stay Tuned
You're officially owed more posts on: the starting situation, the factions involved, Tower (the main setting of Sorcery Street), and maybe even actual rules to play it all with? Time will tell.
