Fighters in Los Tronos
keep it simple stupid
FIGHTER (Classis)
+1 HP and +1 attack per Fighter template.
A - Improvise, Adapt, Overcome
B - Close Ranks!
C - Onslaught
D - Indomitable, Archetype Capstone
Improvise [A]
Any object you take hold of and violently strike a living thing with counts as a weapon. When fighting with a weapon, you never roll less than d6 damage, and never deal less than [level] damage.
Adapt [A]
After an enemy damages you, you get wise to their bullshit. The next time the same enemy attacks you the same way, they attack with disadvantage, and if they hit they deal minimum damage.
Overcome [A]
Spend an action to quickly study an enemy; suddenly, you can see their weak-spot! Your next attack against them has advantage, and deals max damage if it hits.
Close Ranks! [B]
You're constantly barking orders and warnings in battle, and leaping to defend your less-competent allies when that fails. You can spend & roll your hit dice to reduce damage from attacks that hit any allies in your zone.
Onslaught [C]
Just...never stop attacking, and you'll be fine, okay!? You can make one extra attack on your turn without spending an action.
Indomitable [D]
When you get knocked to 0 HP and choose to fight at death's door, return to half your maximum HP as normal. However, when you inevitably get knocked down to 0 again, you don't instantly die; instead, you come back to half of half your maximum HP (also known as 1/4 your HP). You can keep doing this until you find yourself trying to divide into fractional hit points...
Notes
The idea would be to have a set of Fighter Archetypes that you could stack on top of this classis, but I'm tired and I have some other work to do. Assume all you need for an archetype is a perk, a capstone, and starting equipment. If your perk is real good, maybe make a drawback. Enjoy!
