Campaign 2026
Prestigious blog "Press The Beast" has put out the call for us all in the blog-o-sphere to run a campaign in 2026! No stranger to starting too many new games am I, so here's my entry.
ESCHATON
To quote the primer I sent the players last week, ESCHATON is "a campaign of modern monster hunters in a world much like our own...There are gas stations, interstate highways [can you tell I live in America], and name brands. But there are also monsters, ghosts, secret covens and their magic spells!"
Using rules cribbed mostly from SAVAGE WORLDS, this will be a 4-player in-person campaign hosted at my place every 2 weeks, starting February 3rd. I'm very excited. Players include seasoned veterans of my past games, new friends, and one person very new to roleplaying in general!
I have tried to embrace the ethos of scheduling a session 1, thus putting me on a deadline to make the game and help make the characters...and it worked! Rules are ready, first adventure is ready, characters are halfway made!
